Trivory MCP

Trivory MCP connects AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini directly to your school's news, calendar, and schedules on Trivory. Instead of copying and pasting information into a chat, you can just ask, and the AI assistant pulls the latest details straight from Trivory.

Use it to quickly answer questions like "Is tomorrow an A day or a B day?", or to turn your school's information into something new: a flyer of this week's games, a printable calendar of A/B days for the year, a summary of recent announcements for a newsletter, and more.

Experimental

Trivory MCP is an experimental feature. It may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

What it can do

Trivory MCP can read the same information you see in the Trivory app:

  • News: A school's latest news posts.
  • Calendar: Events for any range of dates, like sports, arts, and clubs.
  • Schedules: Day types, A/B days, and bell schedules.

Example prompts

  • "Create a 5 column flyer listing all the sports happening this week at Roosevelt High School."
  • "Make me a PDF calendar showing the A/B days at Grant High School for the school year."
  • "What's the bell schedule at Cleveland High School tomorrow?"
  • "Summarize the latest news from Franklin High School."

Limitations

  • There's no keyword search yet. The AI assistant can pull up recent news or events for a date range, but it can't look up a specific post or event by name, so finding older or very specific items may not work well.
  • It's read-only and can only see public information. It can't post or edit information.
  • AI assistants can make mistakes. Double-check important dates and times in the Trivory app.

Set it up

Trivory MCP works with any AI assistant or app that supports remote MCP servers:

  1. In your AI assistant's settings, look for an option to add a custom MCP server. Depending on the app, it might be called a connector, app, plugin, or integration.
  2. Enter this URL: https://trivory.com/mcp
  3. If you're asked about authentication, choose None (no sign-in is needed). If you're asked for a transport type, choose Streamable HTTP.
