Set up Trivory MCP in ChatGPT
Experimental
Trivory MCP is an experimental feature. It may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.
What you need
- A paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu. Custom MCP servers aren't available on the Free or Go plans.
- A computer: Set it up at chatgpt.com in a web browser.
- If you use ChatGPT through your school or work (Business, Enterprise, or Edu), your workspace admin may need to allow custom MCP servers first.
Set it up
Last updated October 2026. ChatGPT changes often, so the names of these menus and buttons might be slightly different by the time you read this guide.
- Open ChatGPT, then click Plugins on the left sidebar.
- Click the + Add button in the top right, then Add custom MCP server.
- For the name, enter Trivory.
- Under Connection, enter the server URL:
https://trivory.com/mcp - For authentication, choose No authentication.
- Review the warning, then click I understand and want to continue.
- Click Create as a plugin.
To use it, start a new chat and type @Trivory, then ask your question. For example: "@Trivory what sports games are happening this week at Roosevelt High School?"
Don't see "Add custom MCP server"?
- Make sure you're on a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu).
- If you use ChatGPT through your school or work, ask your workspace admin whether custom MCP servers are allowed.
